Arnold Company’s manufacturing facility in Trenton, IL initiates a new recycling project with St. Louis-based customized recycling and service solutions provider Always Green Recycling.

Always Green Recycling (AGR) offers their recycling partners full-service, single-stream recycling in the greater St. Louis region. This process eliminates the need to separate materials and saves them from being transferred to landfills. Established in 2008, this woman and veteran-owned business now recycles and composts more than 700 tons of materials every month.

AGR emphasizes the comprehensive process of “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” to further eliminate waste in local communities. When trash is diverted from landfills through recycling, pollution from harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases can be reduced.
Teaming Up with Arnold Company for a New Recycling Project
An increase in cardboard waste inspired the team at Arnold Company to launch a recycling program. Headquartered in a rural location, the options remained limited until the team spotted an Always Green Recycling truck nearby at a local restaurant. The partnership kicked off in early September. Now every two weeks, a two-yard container will allow the team to recycle cardboard, cans, bottles, and plastics.
