Our Door Buster boxcar opener makes the difficult job of opening and closing boxcar doors safe and efficient.
The Door Buster is designed to remove the user from two potentially dangerous areas when opening boxcar doors: potential stored energy in the plug door handle and the sliding door itself. Risk in these areas increases if the load has shifted or the door was damaged at a prior stop. While there are other ways to get a boxcar open, the Door Buster is the only method that truly removes the user from potential danger.

We’ve kept all of the best features, but we are now providing the option to remove the cords with a simple handheld remote control. The Door Buster is still designed to be utilized wherever you need it with easy forklift mounting and a built in DC battery charger. While the original design always allowed the operator to stay completely clear of the plug door handle, the sliding door, and any potential load shifting, our new remote control option completely removes all cords. This dramatically improves ease of use and efficiency while operating the unit.
